The release-v0.16 branch has recently been created and people can thus start testing the upcoming v0.16 release. Instructions are as follows.
- Instructions to clone and subsequently compile can be found here: https://github.com/monero-project/monero#compiling-monero-from-source
- Change
git clone --recursive https://github.com/monero-project/monerotogit clone -b release-v0.16 --recursive https://github.com/monero-project/moneroin order to properly compile the release branch.
Please test:
- Basic functionality such as syncing from scratch, transacting, receiving funds, whether the node runs properly once fully synced.
- Hardware wallet integrations such as Trezor and Ledger.
Any issues ought to be reported to the issue tracker on the Monero Github repository:
